Words and the world passing by; how it sings to me; how I clamour back.

I’ve been inspired recently to get back into music a little more seriously (read, burning passion but limited time) and I suddenly remembered I had this old sequencer tucked away somewhere.
I had stopped using it because I lost the power adapter, or possibly it broke. It takes six AA batteries as an alternative, but that’s quite an expensive amount of consumables or a heck of a lot of battery recharging. So it’s just been gathering dust while I occasionally considered replacing the adapter.
I just dug it out, remembering that it’s got some piano music I wrote in college with weird time signatures that I wanted to revisit . I looked up how much a replacement adapter would be, immediately found the exact one: £16 including postage.
£16! For access to a great bit of kit and the nostalgia of music I wrote in my formative years.
Will I learn anything from this experience? Doubtful…
